Washington, DC - November 15th, 2017 40 community members of the Black Immigration Network (BIN), Black Alliance for Just Immigration (BAJI), Undocublack Network, National TPS Alliance and Temporary Protected Status (TPS) holders from across the country will convene in Washington DC for a Black-led Day of Action. As the Trump administration weighs whether to end TPS for thousands of Haitians and Salvadorans, Black immigrants and fellow TPS beneficiaries will demand that Department of Homeland Security extend TPS for all recipients. The Day of Action will also call on congress to legislate a just solution that leads to citizenship for TPS beneficiaries.
