MARGATE, FL (September 14, 2017) – The City of Margate debris removal contractors will begin debris removal on City maintained roads and rights-of-way in response to Hurricane Irma on Monday, September 18th. Collection of vegetative debris and wooden fences (in residential neighbourhoods only) will begin on Monday, September 18th. Vegetative debris should be placed on the curb side for pick-up. Only loose debris will be collected. Do not place in bags. Do not mix with solid waste. Wooden fences are to be placed in a separate pile.
