China to Fund Construction of Six Schools in Dominica

ROSEAU, Dominica - Dominica’s Prime MInister Roosevelt Skerrit Wednesday expressed his country’s “profound gratitude to the People’s Republic of China” after Bejing agreed to fund the construction of six schools here totaling US$30 million.

IGT Coding and Robotics Rock! Camp Closes With Successful Achievements

Philipsburg, St Maarten – In this year's IGT Coding and Robotics Rock! Camp, 72 students from six Caribbean countries came together to focus on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), aligning with the camp's theme "Think it, Code it, Solve it." Both Level I and Level II students worked on creating captivating websites and petitions in support of SDGs.

Camp held by International Game Technology (IGT) in collaboration with the Mona Geoinformatics Institute at UWI. The theme of the Camp, "Think it, Code it, Solve it," was designed to empower students as digital architects, enabling them to influence the future of the Caribbean through their exceptional abilities in critical thinking, innovation, and problem-solving.

American Canadian School of Medicine Opens in Dominica

ROSEAU, Dominica – Nearly five years after Ross University left Dominica for Barbados under controversial circumstances after having been on the island for the past 40 years, the American Canadian School of Medicine on Sunday opened its doors to students.
