KINGSTON, JAMAICA – This Heroes Weekend October 19, Jamaica’s capital city Kingston is set to host a powerful 30-Year Tribute to Sizzla Kalonji at Sabina Park.

Following the successful “Kalonji Konversations” event in Miami, and the official proclamation presented by Jamaica’s Consul General to Miami, Oliver Mair, the 30-year celebration of reggae icon Sizzla Kalonji now makes its highly anticipated journey home.

Intentionally issued on the Earthstrong (birthday) of His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I, a guiding figure in the Rastafari movement and symbolic inspiration to reggae’s global journey, this release marks a pivotal moment in the lead-up to an unforgettable cultural homecoming.

On Sunday, October 19, 2025, Sabina Park will come alive for a cultural celebration like no other, as fans, artists, and the global reggae family gather to honor 30 years of musical excellence, activism, and spiritual leadership by the legendary Sizzla Kalonji.

Titled ‘Rise to the Occasion- Celebrating 30 Years of Sizzla Kalonji’ this event marks a full-circle moment in Jamaican music history, celebrating not only Sizzla’s enduring catalog and influence but also the worldwide reach of his message that has connected Jamaica to the world.

The concert will unfold in a powerful tribute-style format, with Sizzla Kalonji receiving ‘his flowers’ from a cast of musical ‘bredrins, sistrins’, friends, and artists who’ve journeyed with him, been inspired by him, and now gather to honour his legacy through electrifying performances and heartfelt moments on stage.
