The season that ushers in a mood of celebration comes complete with music from artistes who boast varied talents. Entertainer, Gvon says his 2023 Soca release will be entered into all major competitions this season. “I’m representing for all the men in the universe with this song,” he attests, and ironically, he truly might be.

Port-of-Spain, Trinidad - Soca sweetheart, Nadia Batson has emerged as one of the top entertainers this carnival. For that reason, the singer/songwriter was chosen as one of two headline acts for Randy Glasgow’s ‘Soca For Her’ event, which takes place in February. “Our role in this industry, isn’t all business. As a promoter, we engage talent and deliver opportunities for artistes like Nadia and so many others, to live out their dreams, showcasing their ability to the world,” said Glasgow.

General Grant Says, "I Want My Flowers While I'm Still Here."

Port-of-Spain, Trinidad - The name ‘General Grant’ is one that most people in Trinidad and Tobago and across the region, know and appreciate. A part of the music business for over 40 years, Grant maintains relevance, releasing new music frequently, and pushing hard to deliver to the people. Another Carnival celebration now in focus at home in Trinidad and Tobago, General Grant says he wants his flowers while he’s still alive, lamenting that while many artistes often go unrecognized for their contributions, they are certainly the ones who represent for country, wherever they go.
