Kingston, Jamaica: It is now official! Richard 'Richie B' Burgess, a radio veteran with almost 30 years of broadcasting experience will join Jamaica's newest radio station, The Bridge 99FM, company chairman Bobby Clarke has announced.

NY: In a blockbuster move that some say is a definite game changer in radio broadcasting, the Caribbean Global Network (CGN) Group, the operators of Queens, New York-based IRIE Jam Radio will in July this year, launch a brand new radio station in Jamaica called The Bridge 99FM. 99FM was previously owned by the RJR communications group.
