Jamaican reggae artist Ghost is making waves with a remix to, “Be Your Friend,” featuring Bounty Killer and Busy Signal to be released July 18th and pre-order available now..  It's a vibrant track that blends soulful vocals with infectious rhythms. Released in 2024, the song has garnered positive feedback both locally and internationally, reaffirming Ghost’s status as one of Jamaica’s most soulful voices.

The accompanying official music video, released in early 2025, captures the essence of joy, connection, and carefree vibes. Filmed in a scenic Caribbean setting, the video features vibrant colors, stunning beachside shots, and feel-good moments that perfectly complement the song’s message.

After hearing the original song, Bounty Killer told Ghost that this song is one of the best songs that he has heard from the artist in a long time and wanted to jump on the remix with Busy Signal.  He put his touch on the song and then Busy Signal added his vibes and now the song is ready to hit their fans internationally.

Bounty Killer is a dancehall legend hailing from Trenchtown, Kingston, Jamaica. He emerged in the early ’90s with gritty, raw, street‑tough lyrics, establishing himself with hits like “Copper Shot” and “Spy Fi Die” in 1992 rootfire. Nicknamed the "Poor People's Governor" and “Warlord,” Bounty Killer set the bar for lyrical prowess and social commentary, particularly with his albums Down in the Ghetto (1994) and My Xperience (1996). That latter project even featured collaborations with hip‑hop heavyweights like the Fugees, Busta Rhymes, and Wu‑Tang Clan.

Busy Signal is a dynamic reggae–dancehall artist known for his high-energy delivery and melodic versatility.
