BROWARD COUNTY, FL.- Recent heavy rains are prompting the need for the Mosquito Control Section to spray several areas of the County to reduce the mosquito larvae population. Preventive truck larviciding will be proactively performed between the hours of 10PM and 6AM, weather permitting, August 26 – September 14, 2019. MIAMI —The Quiet Zone established in Miami-Dade County will officially take effect at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, July 8, along the Florida East Coast (FEC) railway, from NE 79 Street to County Line Road. This Quiet Zone will be an extension of the existing Quiet Zone, currently in effect from PortMiami to NE 79 Street within the City of Miami.
