Miami, FL – “Yesterday, the Office of State Representative Kevin Chambliss, along with the Homestead Haitian Ministerial Alliance and the Office of U.S. Congressman Carlos Giménez, hosted a constituent services workshop focused on aiding the South Dade Haitian Community and their families recover and rebuild from months of political chaos and most recently a devastating 7.2 magnitude earthquake.

BRIDGETOWN Barbados – The Secretary General of the Organization of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS), Georges Rebelo Pinto Chikoti, Tuesday said multilateralism is the appropriate, if not only, framework for effectively meeting global challenges, such as threats to peace and security, the fight against terrorism, violent extremism, organized crime, pandemics, and the ongoing crises of climate change and biodiversity loss.

Colombia Confirms Detained Nationals Visited by Honorary Counsel

BOGOTA, Colombia, – Less than a week after Colombia publicly called on Haitian authorities to ensure guaranteed legal and medical rights of their nationals detained in connection with the assassination of President Jovenel Moise on July 7, a Colombian official has been allowed to visit the detainees in prison.
