UNFPA Says Gang Violence Undermining Its Work in Haiti

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti – The humanitarian coordinator of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Christian Vovi, says the gang violence in Haiti is affecting the organization’s work in the French-speaking Caribbean Community (CARICOM) country.

UN Human Rights Official Warns Haiti Could Become the New Wild West

UNITED NATIONS – The  United Nations designated expert on human rights for Haiti, William O’Neill, is warning that with armed gangs expanding their influence, self-defense groups morphing into gang-like entities and public officials acting with impunity, Haiti is slowly becoming something like the Wild West.

Caribbean Urged to Invest in a Comprehensive Regional Platform For Food Security
