Jamaica U15s Make History With Perfect Group Stage Run to Advance to Semi-Finals

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jamaica’s U15 boys’ national team continues to shine at the CONCACAF U15 Championship, securing a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Curaçao to complete a flawless group stage campaign in Aruba.

champboyA second-half strike from Kelvin Brown in the 70th minute proved decisive, sending the young Reggae Boyz into the semi-finals in style.

The young Reggae Boyz had earlier defeated Belize 2-0 and Aruba 4-0. before Wednesday’s victory.

Jamaica’s triumph was more than just a win; it was a record-breaking performance. For the first time in the nation’s history at this tournament, the team has won all three group stage matches.

The Andrew Peart conditioned team also kept three consecutive clean sheets thanks to some brilliant work from Cavalier FC custodian Jaheime Gray.

The young Reggae Boys also scored seven goals, matching their highest group stage tally, which was last achieved in 2013 in the Cayman Islands.

As Group D winners, Jamaica now awaits the winner of Group E, which includes Bermuda, Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda, and Trinidad and Tobago.
