And enough island energy to turn an ordinary Sunday into one of South Florida’s sweetest family outings of the summer.

Island SPACE Mango Festival returns Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 2–6 p.m. at the Charles F. Dodge City Center in Pembroke Pines, bringing together Caribbean food, music, culture and family fun in one indoor, air-conditioned celebration.

Supporters of the 2026 Island SPACE Mango Festival include the Institute of Museum and Library Services, Broward County Cultural Division, Grace Foods and CrichtonMullings.

Hosted by Island SPACE Caribbean Museum, the annual festival has quickly grown into the museum’s signature summer event, drawing families, food lovers, mango enthusiasts and cultural explorers from across South Florida.

“This is not the usual Father’s Day brunch or barbecue,” said Calibe Thompson, Executive Director of Island SPACE Caribbean Museum. “This is an afternoon where Dad gets to feel celebrated while the entire family enjoys an incredible cultural experience together.”

At the center of this year’s festival is Daddy’s Kingdom, a premium Father’s Day experience designed specifically for fathers and father figures.

The $50 Passport to Daddy’s Kingdom includes general admission plus access to a VIP zone featuring a throne-style photo opportunity, premium treats, games, giveaways and pampering experiences created just for dads. Organizers are also making one thing very clear: No moms allowed!

Throughout the afternoon, dads can also take center stage during the Daddy Mango Eating Competition and enjoy soccer-themed kickoff moments on the main stage ahead of South Florida’s evening FIFA World Cup excitement.

For mango lovers, the festival’s Mango Sommelier Experience offers a guided tasting flight featuring rare and exotic mango varieties from across the Caribbean and beyond. Guests will explore flavor profiles, textures and origins while enjoying premium mango-themed take-home goodies.

Festivalgoers can also wander through the Mango Walk, featuring dozens of exotic and Caribbean mango varieties on display throughout the venue before select mangoes are auctioned live at the end of the event.

The festival’s main stage will feature live entertainment, culinary demonstrations and Caribbean-inspired performances throughout the afternoon.

Featured chefs include Chef Winston Williams of the U.S. Virgin Islands, Chef Irie of Jamaica and Chef Thia of Haiti from Taste the Islands on PBS and Chef Guillermo Vasquez and Gabriella Zapata representing the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.

Entertainment includes music by Bigg G and DJ King Mega of KBM Live, steelpan performances and dance showcases by SocaFit and KOTR Kompa Dance Company.

Families can also explore artisan and food vendors, mango-growing workshops, mango grafting demonstrations, community partner booths and activities for children. Guests can pre-order fresh Jamaican mangoes through the event website.

Ticket prices are $25 for adults in advance, $35 at the door, $10 for children and $50 each for the Passport to Daddy’s Kingdom and Mango Sommelier Experience, both of which include general admission.

Tickets are available through Ticketmaster, at Island SPACE Caribbean Museum and at the Charles F. Dodge City Center box office.
