ST. JOHN’S,  Antigua - The Antigua and Barbuda government Sunday disputed recent comments by the Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar that the 15-member regional  integration grouping, CARICOM, “is not a reliable partner at this time” and that that it cannot continue to operate in “this dysfunctional and self-destructive manner as it is a grave disservice to the people of the Caribbean”.

Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar Dismisses Venezuela’s Energy Threat As 'False Propaganda'

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad – Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar says she is “not bothered” by the decision of Venezuela  to  cancel with “immediate effect” any  existing contract, agreement or negotiation with the Caribbean Community (CARICOM)  country after accusing Port of Spain of being complicit in the decision of the United States to seize a Venezuela oil tanker last week.
