Atlanta Caribbean Carnival Attracted Major Crowds for 2022

Atlanta, GA – This past Memorial Day Weekend all eyes were on the Atlanta Caribbean Carnival. The metropolitan city center of Georgia’s state capital was filled with the rhythms of Caribbean music, the scents of island cuisine and the undeniable energy of an enthusiastic audience who came out after a two year cultural withdrawal.

The 2022 edition of Atlanta Caribbean Carnival marked the return of ATL’s beloved large mas bands to the downtown experience.

St. Lucia Carnival Open to Non-Vaccinated Revelers

CASTRIES, St. Lucia – The St. Lucia government has approved several incentives for Carnival stakeholders, announcing also that while the festival will be open to both vaccinated and non-vaccinated revelers, “more precise guidelines will be provided on the procedures for participation” for the July event.

World Clash Commemorates the End of an Era in Sound Clash

New York, New York – Like a storybook ending, the World Clash trophy returned to Jamaica, the birth place of sound clash, upon Code Red's recent victory. Moreover, the sold-out O2 Academy in Birmingham, England served as the ultimate finale to World Clash, a premier sound system competition produced by New York based promoters Irish and Chin since 1998 (and the final in association with UK's Reggae Girls Promotions).

New York, NY - Even with news of the global pandemic subsiding, there are those still trying to find ways of surviving and Make it Work is the latest single from reggae artist Kabaka Pyramid, telling this story. The new single produced by Young Pow and Damian Marley himself, speaks about the mounting pressures of the system from the perspective of the persistent hustlers determined to find a way. The track, which in many ways is a platform for the voice of the working class, is scheduled for release on all streaming services today.
