PSC Encourages Consumers to Find and Fix Leaks

TALLAHASSEE — Are you ready to chase down leaks?  Household leaks can waste nearly 1 trillion gallons of water annually nationwide. The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) encourages you to participate in the EPA’s 13th annual Fix A Leak Week, March 15-21.  The Week highlights the need for consumers to find and fix leaks inside and outside their homes to save valuable water and money all year long.

Microsoft Presents Powerful and Historic Virtual Experience to Empower Students and Communities This Black History Month

Learning, and celebrating Black History has never been more important. Microsoft understands this fact and has committed to providing a platform for schools, students, and youth organizations for this year's Black History Month celebration. Utilizing the world of technology, Microsoft will highlight and virtually transport 13 of the world's top Black History Museum exhibits into every student's home or classroom across North America. This partnership with museums, historical landmarks, cultural centers, athletes, and civic influencers worldwide will include a month-long series of FREE immersive and interactive experiences for K-12 schools and the community to celebrate and learn. COVID-19 Vaccines for Seniors in Miramar This Saturday

MIRAMAR, FL  – This upcoming Saturday, February 6th from 8am to 5pm, the State will be administering 1,000 vaccines at ChristWay Baptist Church located at 3800 South Douglas Road in Miramar.Seniors can call the church at 954-442-7477 to schedule an appointment and are encouraged to arrive no more than 30 minutes before their scheduled appointment time.
