MIAMI-DADE COUNTY – Miami-Dade County Commissioners Barbara J. Jordan and Esteban Bovo, Jr. presented a commendation to bus operator Elijah Saleem for saving a family of three from drowning after the family’s car plunged into a canal on Feb. 18. The commendation took place at the Board of County Commissioners’ March 5 meeting.
