KINGSTON, Jamaica – One of Jamaica’s most iconic natural landmarks has once again received international recognition, with Dunn’s River Falls and Park in the tourist resort town of Ocho Rios, in the northern parish of St. Ann, being named a 2026 TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards Winner, placing the attraction among the top 10 percent of attractions worldwide.
The award, presented by TripAdvisor—the world’s largest travel guidance platform—is based on millions of reviews and ratings submitted by travelers over a 12-month period. The recognition reflects consistently high marks for visitor satisfaction, customer service, destination management, environmental stewardship, and overall experience.
The Urban Development Corporation (UDC), which manages Dunn’s River Falls and Park, welcomed the achievement, describing it as a testament to the attraction’s enduring appeal and its importance to Jamaica’s tourism industry.
Dunn’s River Falls is widely regarded as one of the Caribbean’s most famous natural attractions and has become synonymous with Jamaica’s tourism brand.
According to the UDC, the latest recognition highlights the dedication of the management team and staff who work to maintain world-class standards while preserving the natural environment that makes the attraction so special.
The corporation noted that the award represents another defining moment for Jamaica’s tourism product and reinforces the country’s reputation as a premier global travel destination.
