LGY Enterprises Donates 3,000 Medical Level Masks to the City of Miramar to Support COVID-19 Prevention Efforts

MIRAMAR, FL – The City of Miramar received a donation of 3,000 medical level masks from LGY Enterprises, LLC. The masks donated include 4 Ply Masks & 3D Masks which have 4 layers- one with melt-blown antibacterial non-woven fabric offering micro filtering up to 99% as well as NUT 95 Respirators which offer 5 layers of protection- 2 with melt-blown antibacterial non-woven fabric also offering micro filtering up to 99%.

Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center Awarded $6 Million Grant to Support Its Comprehensive Family Aids Program

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Children’s Diagnostic &Treatment Center (CDTC) has been awarded a $6 million grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) for its Comprehensive Family AIDS Program (CFAP). The program cares for 2,254 women, children and infants infected and affected by HIV/AIDS in Broward County. CDTC, affiliated with Broward Health, serves children and families with special healthcare needs.

Broward Health Offers Free Immunizations For Uninsured Children

Fort Lauderdale, Florida – Two Broward Health community health centers are helping children prepare for the school year by offering free immunizations and low-cost physical exams. Mobilize to Immunize summer immunizations return, creating even greater access to care for children between the ages of 4 and 18 who are uninsured, have Medicaid, or identify as American Indian or Alaska Native.
