Guyana's Attorney General Dismisses Political Interference in Extradition Case

GEORGETOWN, Guyana – Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs Mohabir Anil Nandlall, has again sought to clear the air on the ongoing extradition case involving the Mohammeds, explaining that the withdrawal of tax-related charges by the Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) was a necessary legal adjustment under the terms of Guyana’s extradition treaty, not a political act.

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad –  The Trinidad and Tobago government on Friday said it has taken note “of the current heightened sense of anxiety and concern”  in the country based on what it described as “false news reports suggesting that there will be an imminent  change in the status of  the national and regional  security environment”.

All military personnel ordered to report to their respective bases by 6.00 pm (local time)
