KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism, Hon Edmund Bartlett has appointed a new director of Visitor Safety and Experience, Major Dave Walker, to further review the initial report from the recent island wide security audit of the tourism sector.

MIAMI - St. Maarten hotel association executive Wyb Meijer, Aruban guest experience supervisor Berlinda Engelhardt, and Puerto Rican Security Supervisor Luis de Jesus were named among three Caribbean tourism industry stakeholders who have exemplified excellence across the region's bread and butter industry.

Jamaica Officials Meet With Major Tour Operators in France

PARIS, FRANCE –As part of Jamaica’s goal of generating greater global awareness and increasing visitor arrivals, the Hon. Edmund Bartlett, Minister of Tourism and Donovan White, Director of Tourism, were in Paris this week to meet with France’s major tour operators.

Jamaica Celebrates 45th Annual Caribbean Week in New York

NEW YORK, NY – The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) joined the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) in celebrating the 45th edition of Caribbean Week in New York City, held June 1-9. The destination boasted a strong presence, attending and co-sponsoring various events throughout the week, targeting the media, Diaspora community and local New Yorkers.

Visitors Continue to Rate Grenada Highly After their Visit

ST.GEORGE’S, GRENADA – The Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) continues to survey visitors to ensure that the destination’s product and experiences exceed expectations. The Authority conducts quarterly Visitor Motivation Surveys and the latest results reinforce that visitors enjoy what Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique have to offer.
